Pro Med was formed by Mike Bricker, an IT stalwart in 1983.The Company was initially established to provide a Debtors Module to Radiology Practices across South Africa. We then commenced with batch claim processing with the Medical Aids in 1999 when Healthbridge was formed and therefore were part of the introduction of NAPPI coding in 2002.
After successfully installing their first PACS solution at Sunninghill Hospital, which was integrated into the existing RIS and developing the solution to incorporate ICD10 coding, Pro Med has continued to grow and excel in offering new products and services to the modern radiology practices.
